Emily Lilja, Research Assistant, has a background in economics. Ms. Lilja conducts research and analyses in the fields of father involvement and child well-being. She has worked with national level data sets such as the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1997 (NLSY97), Fragile Families, and the Current Population Survey. Ms. Lilja has experience in statistical programming using a variety of packages including SAS and Stata; she also has strong experience with both descriptive and multivariate analyses, including logistic and multinomial regression. Ms. Lilja is also involved in the evaluation of programs designed to improve outcomes for fathers and their families and programs to improve school-readiness for early childhood education in the District of Columbia.
